Data Analytics

The main dashboard in Kaavio is color-coded and illustrates how a facility's median values compare to other facilities.  Users have the ability to "drill-down" to the publicly available, patient-level detail to better understand observed patterns.

Users can create, save and share custom dashboard data filters for categories such as Primary Diagnosis Category, Principal Procedure Category, MS-DRG, Primary Payer and Patient ZIP code.  With the ability to save custom filters, users can send direct links of the custom filters to other Kaavio users.

Users may also quickly and easily create summaries and graphs by selecting from the measures available in Kaavio, like number of visits, total visit charges, median total visit charges and median length of stay.  Charts are automatically displayed when data ranges are selected by the user.
