Provider Services

WHAIC provides the following services below.  With the Physician Review Process, all Wisconsin-licensed physicians are provided an opportunity to request the review of any record(s), associated with their Wisconsin license number and National Provider Identifier (NPI), where they are either the attending or procedure (operating) physician.

WHAIC developed the Psychiatric Bed Locator Tool to assist health care providers to locate potential availability of inpatient psychiatric beds for the purpose of referring patients for care. The service locator tool is limited to the state of Wisconsin so it cannot be used to locate inpatient beds in another state.

The Hospital Utilization Report contains basic information on patient services provided at general medical services hospitals during the previous month in the Milwaukee area.
