The Guide to Wisconsin Hospitals provides detailed information about each hospital in Wisconsin. For each hospital, the publication provides selected measures of utilization, service, staffing and finance. The Guide to Wisconsin Hospitals provides hospitals and health care organizations with the necessary information to evaluate internal practices and compare facilities statewide. The Guide to Wisconsin Hospitals is a repository of essential reports including staffing, utilization, and financial information.
  The Health Care Data Report provides an annual summary of data on utilization and charges from Wisconsin hospitals and free-standing ambulatory surgery centers. With the Health Care Data Report, readers have insight into the following:

• Services provided to hospital inpatients, the primary reasons for hospitalization, charges for services received and the most common diagnostic conditions
• Utilization and charges for patients undergoing selected principal ambulatory surgical procedures at hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers
• Services provided to different demographic groups of emergency department patients, the most common diagnostic conditions and external cause of injury for visits

The Uncompensated Health Care Report provides an annual summary of uncompensated health care in Wisconsin hospitals. With the Uncompensated Health Care Report, readers have insight into the hospital’s charges for charity care and bad debt and number of patients receiving uncompensated health care services. The report assists hospitals in their community health needs assessments by  highlighting how charity care and bad debt affect hospital finances.
