The COVID-19 Pandemic provided the WHAIC an opportunity to create paperless efficiencies, as well as continuing to be resilient and transparent at the same time.
Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 3.4% before seasonal adustment. The current CPI is in effect until a new CPI is reported in early January 2025. All hospitals, along with other organizations can find this information, along with other relevant information on the WHA Information Center website.
Hospitals reporting January 1 rate increases may use the previous year’s CPI. Hospitals, planning a fiscal year rate increase any time after the new CPI information is available and posted should use the most current (new) CPI to determine if their rate increase is reportable.
All users must register in the Portal and have an active account, and documentation readily available to enter and/or upload a copy of your newspaper clipping. If account is locked out, inactive, deactivated, or user leaves the hospital, contact us at
